About full mouth dental implants

Berkeley full mouth dental implant specialist, Dr. Tapaltsyan, believes everyone deserves a beautiful, full set of functioning teeth. Full mouth dental implants are most often the best restoration choice when missing all of your teeth, missing multiple teeth or having severely decayed teeth that are no longer functional. Full arch implants are used to restore an entire upper or lower arch of teeth in one complete custom made implant-supported bridge. The implants are strategically placed throughout the arch to stimulate the jaw bone and support the new bridge of teeth.

Berkeley Hills Dentistry has created a seamless and stress-free process for patients. From the initial consultation to implant surgery to the final restoration, everything is taken care of under one roof. Dr. Tapaltsyan also utilizes the latest dental technology, which helps accurately guide the surgery while drastically cutting down operation time.

Initial Consultation Appointment:

At your initial consultation, Dr Tapaltsyan will do a comprehensive examination of your teeth and jawbone and review both surgical and restorative options. Dr Tapaltsyan will also go over all benefits, risks, and alternatives to full mouth implants. He will show you examples of cases and models of different kinds of teeth as well as models of implants. Dr Tapaltsyan only places Straumann implants, which are the most advanced implants in the field. In order to properly assess each patient and determine if you are a candidate for full mouth implants, Dr Tapaltsyan will need to review a 3-D Xrays of your jaws, known as a CT-scan. If you recently had a CT scan taken, please arrange for it to be transferred to us or bring a copy with you. If not, we will need to take one at your consultation - the cost for CT is $465 (to be credited towards your case). Once determined that you are a candidate for full mouth implants, you will receive an all-inclusive estimate for your treatment and will be able to schedule your following appointment.
